Private Lessons with The Russet Trio
Ever since Covid lockdowns began last March, The Russet Trio’s usual venues - dances, weddings, parties, festivals - have been largely unavailable. However, the break in performing has prompted us all to find other ways to keep music flowing through our fingers and into our lives and, although we all miss performing together, the time to focus on practicing and composing has been quite welcome. Music, sweet music: revealing itself - yet again - as a gift that keeps on giving, in marvelous measure.
How about you? Are you finding yourself at home more than usual? Has the lack of live music left you thirsting for the actual sound of plucked strings and the slide of a bow across a fiddle? If you or a loved one has been wanting to learn to play an instrument, or if that instrument you used to play has gathered dust and beckons from its case, we are eager to offer individualized instruction on: Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin, Clawhammer Banjo, Bass and Ukulele. Learning the language of music and developing the skills to express it are very rewarding endeavors that last a lifetime. It’d be our honor and privilege to play a part in enabling any student to get more conversant in that universal language.
Lessons are available both in person and online via Zoom/FaceTime/Skype. Individual lessons are $50 for 45 minutes or $60 for an hour. Contact each teacher individually to arrange scheduling.
